Ingredients

For 1 person:

  • 250 ml of almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
  • 30g of protein powder (whey, casein, or chocolate-flavored vegetable protein)
  • 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of hazelnut puree
  • 1/2 banana (or 5 pitted Medjool dates for natural sweetness)
  • A pinch of salt
  • A quantity the size of a grain of rice of Purlema shilajit resin
  • A few ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preparing the ingredients: Measure all the ingredients accurately. Slice the banana (if using).
  2. Assembly: In a blender, pour the almond milk, protein powder, cocoa, hazelnut puree, banana (or dates), pinch of salt and Purlema' shilajit resin.
  3. Blending: Blend at high speed for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth and creamy. If desired, add a few ice cubes for a cooler smoothie.
  4. Serving suggestion: Pour immediately into a glass and enjoy without delay. You can decorate with a few hazelnut pieces or a pinch of cocoa powder.

Chef's Tips

  • For a thicker smoothie: Add more ice cubes or use frozen fruit (banana, berries).
  • For a sweeter smoothie: Increase the amount of banana or dates, or add some maple or agave syrup.
  • Mix things up: Replace the hazelnut butter with almond, cashew, or peanut butter. You can also add a teaspoon of chia or flax seeds for an extra boost of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.
  • Shilajit: Purlema' shilajit resin dissolves more easily in a warm liquid. If you have trouble incorporating it directly, dilute it in a tablespoon of warm milk before adding it to the blender.

Conservation

This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately after preparation to fully appreciate its flavors and optimal texture. However, it can be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours in an airtight container. Remember to stir it before drinking, as it may separate slightly.
