This adaptogenic hot chocolate is perfect for a cozy moment after a long day or to prepare for a restful night's sleep. Its comforting sweetness and subtle notes will leave you feeling deeply relaxed.
Ingredients
For 2 people:
- 250 ml of almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 100g of dark chocolate with a minimum of 70% cocoa
- 1 teaspoon of Reishi mushroom powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of Shilajit extract (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger for a spicy touch
Instructions
- In a saucepan, gently heat the almond milk. Do not boil.
- Add the chopped dark chocolate to the hot milk. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Incorporate the Reishi powder and Shilajit extract. Mix well to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- If desired, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten to taste. Adjust the amount according to your preferences.
- Add the cinnamon and/or ginger (optional) and mix well.
