Ingredients
For 1 person:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon of almond butter (or other nut butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon of chia seeds
- An amount of shilajit the size of a grain of rice (approximately 100mg)
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 1/4 cup of water (or more, to adjust the consistency)
- Optional: a few ice cubes
- Optional: A pinch of cinnamon or ground ginger
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients : Take the fruit out of the freezer (if using frozen fruit), measure the almond butter, chia seeds and shilajit.
- Dissolve the shilajit : In a small glass, mix the shilajit with a tablespoon of warm water. Stir until completely dissolved. Good quality shilajit will dissolve easily.
- Add the ingredients to the blender : Place the banana, berries, almond butter, chia seeds, shilajit-water mixture, almond milk and water in a blender.
- Blend until smooth : Blend all ingredients at high speed for approximately 30 to 60 seconds, or until the smoothie is perfectly smooth and creamy.
- Adjust the consistency : If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more water or almond milk. If you prefer it colder, add some ice cubes and blend again.
- Taste and adjust : Taste the smoothie and adjust the flavors as needed. You can add a pinch of cinnamon or ginger for an extra kick, or a little honey or maple syrup if you find it not sweet enough.
