Get ready to savor an explosion of freshness and vitality!
I still remember the harsh winters of my childhood, when my grandmother would prepare this juice for us every morning. The intoxicating aroma of ginger, combined with the sweetness of orange and the subtle flavor of carrot, created a warm and comforting atmosphere. Today, I'm sharing this family recipe, a true invitation to indulge in some delicious self-care.
Ingredients
Serves 4:
- 4 organic oranges , peeled and cut into pieces
- 3 medium organic carrots , peeled and cut into pieces
- 1 large piece of fresh ginger (about 5 cm) , peeled and cut into pieces
- 1 cup of water (approximately 250 ml)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (to adjust the sweetness)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Wash the oranges, carrots, and ginger thoroughly. Peel the oranges and carrots, then cut all the ingredients into medium-sized pieces to facilitate juice extraction.
- Extracting the juice: Use a juicer or a powerful blender to extract the juice from the oranges, carrots, and ginger. If using a blender, add the water and blend until smooth. Strain the juice if you wish to remove the fibers.
- Adjust the taste: Taste the juice and adjust the sweetness by adding honey or maple syrup according to your preferences.
- To serve: Pour the juice into glasses and enjoy immediately. You can also keep it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but it's best enjoyed when consumed straight from the kitchen.
Chef's Tips
For a creamier texture, you can add half a cup of almond or coconut milk.

For an even more nutrient-rich juice, feel free to add other vegetables such as beetroot or apples.
