Chef's Tips
- For a fresher smoothie bowl, you can freeze the mango pieces for 30 minutes before blending them.
- Vary the flavors by adding other exotic fruits such as pineapple, papaya or pieces of kiwi.
- For a protein boost, add a scoop of plant-based protein powder to your smoothie bowl.
- Replace chia seeds with ground flax seeds or hemp seeds to vary the nutritional intake.
- You can use almond milk, soy milk or any other plant-based milk of your choice instead of coconut milk.
Conservation
This smoothie bowl is best enjoyed immediately. If you need to store it, place it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. It may separate slightly, so stir it well before eating.
