Ingredients
For 1 liter of Kombucha infused with Shilajit:
- 1 liter of kombucha (ready-made or homemade)
- 100-200mg of Shilajit Purlema' resin (approximately the size of one to two grains of rice, start small and increase if desired)
- Optional: a few slices of fresh ginger, a few berries of your choice (raspberries, blueberries...)
Instructions
- Preparing Shilajit: Dissolve the shilajit resin in a small amount (approximately 50ml) of room-temperature kombucha. Stir gently until completely dissolved. This may take a few minutes. It is important that the resin is completely dissolved before proceeding to the next step.
- Infusion: Pour the dissolved shilajit mixture into the remaining kombucha (950ml).
- Adding flavors (optional): If you wish, add a few slices of fresh ginger and/or berries to further flavor your kombucha.
- Second Fermentation (optional): For a more fizzy kombucha, pour the mixture into an airtight glass bottle (like a kombucha bottle) and let it ferment at room temperature for 1 to 3 days. Monitor the pressure to avoid an explosion.
